Design Intent

Shot composition and set design were used to reinforce Slim Combo’s softer, more approachable identity. To support this, we developed a visual system built around three distinct shot types:

01 The Concept: Abstract Shots

Used design details and geometry to convey the core concept, introducing technical patterns alongside approachable shape language.

02 Features: Breakout Shots

Placed the product on minimal backgrounds to focus purely on technical features, removing visual noise and allowing individual details to read clearly.

03 The Vision: Contextual Shots

Situated the product within sets that mirrored its shape language, using rounded furniture and softened forms to extend the industrial design into the environment.

Visual Tone

A key challenge was balancing a soft, light palette with the inherent contrast of the product itself. To manage this, lighting was kept even and gently diffused, avoiding harsh shadows and excessive contrast. A restrained color palette built around pale, pastel tones helped create a light, welcoming mood, while graphical textures and translucent materials reinforced a sense of productivity and structure.
